If a client comes to their appointment displaying common symptoms of contagious illnesses, we reserve the right to require a client to wear a mask or reschedule.
Please keep in mind that if a staff member becomes sick, our salon cannot continue to operate, so please be mindful of your health when coming in for your appointment.
We are continuing to waive the cancellation fee for clients who cancel after 24 hours due to sickness. In regards to our other policies regarding late arrivals, no shows, and cancellations after 24 hours (not illness related) please refer to our policies below.
When ringing up, clients may pay for their services by using

Thank you all for your continued love and support for 23 years! We appreciate the dedication and want to ensure that all of our clients are able to secure the appointments they want. When email blasts go out regarding scheduling ahead, please send in your requests as soon as possible. Appointments are first come, first serve.
Booking Appointments
In order to book an appointment with any of our stylists, appointments must be booked through email requests to salon_gossip@yahoo.com.
At this time we are still short staffed an do not have a dedicated receptionist.
Clients should email us a detailed appointment request including:
*The date(s) and time(s) they are looking for
*The service(s) they are looking to schedule
*What stylist they are looking to schedule with
If a client is looking for a consultation, please send an email including:
*What services they would like to be scheduled for
*Photos of the current state of their hair (in natural lighting)
*Inspiration photos reflecting what they would like done
Clients cannot book appointments/cancel appointments through our texting/ email service as that is strictly a confirmation service.
Cancellations
Appointments are reserved just for you, so
we ask that you please allow for at minimum 24 hours notice for any cancellations
to accommodate stylists’ schedules.
We have a costly confirmation system implemented that allows you to call, text, or email us in case of any cancellation request 24/7.
Anyone cancelling an appointment more than 24 hours before their appointment will not be charged a late cancellation fee.
*Clients who do not cancel before 24 hours will be charged for their scheduled appointment and will only be rescheduled once the balance is paid. We accept payments through Venmo (@salongossip)*
Late Arrivals
If you think you may be late for your appointment,
please call the salon and let us know. We call any late client 5 minutes into their scheduled start time. If you are more than 10 minutes late, depending on the service and allotted time, your appointment may need to be reschedule your appointment.
Lengthy Services
Any appointments longer than 3 hours or more must be secured with a $75 deposit on the day of booking. It will be applied to your service. In case of a late cancellation or "no show", the deposit will be non-refundable.

We know it is hard to believe that someone would want to miss the opportunity to experience Salon Gossip, but some do. If you do not show up for an appointment that YOU made, you are a NO SHOW.
We do believe in forgiveness. Going forward, a deposit will be required upon booking. The deposit will be applied to your service and will be non-refundable if you do not show.
If you are a new client and are a NO SHOW on your first appointment, we cannot book any future appointments for you.
If you are no longer interested in keeping your appointment or cannot make your appointment time,
please call at least 24 hours prior to your appointment to cancel so that you can be re-booked for future appointments.
